i have learned in the past few days that when you’re heartbroken, don’t be afraid to hurt. cry yourself to sleep, scream at the top of your lungs, cuss at the wind. let it out. you have to feel the pain for it to ever go away. pretending your heart isn’t broken into a million pieces isn’t going to do a damn thing.
